The one where a foodie mentions me in her blog

I whipped up a whole bunch of cookies and stuffed them into cheap—but cutesy-decorated—plastic "tins" from The Container Store. I don't really know what got into me, but I couldn't help but go with the holiday flow.
The baked treats included lightly brandied fruitcake muffins, chocolate-hazelnut domes, and Florentine bars. That's right, I've been thoroughly brainwashed by Sunset Magazine.
I distributed the majority of the cookies to the Deep Fried Tuesdays crew at our holiday party. One tin was sent to San Francisco to B's parents. Apparently there was an impromptu Romy and Michelle screening, at which time our foodie friend A snapped a handsome shot of my creations and later posted on her blog.
Dang, if this diet didn't start yesterday, I'd make myself more of those caramel- and date-laden Florentine bars.
