The one about the lack of interest

Times must be pretty tough when a University of Chicago sponsored interview skills workshop for graduating seniors is canceled due to lack of interest.

The alumni coordinator covering LA volunteered me to participate in the panel. We had a conference call last week to get to know each other before tomorrow's event; one guy was an attorney, another guy was in private equity, and then there was me... the web production assistant. I think I was supposed to play the part of the alum who didn't go to grad school or land a position earning six figures straight out of college.

I think a person who eats well, has an entertaining life, is athletic, and posts all of it to the internet is insanely successful.

The attorney will do well because as the economy tanks, the crime rate will go up. The private equity guy will probably bite lead because his industry has no industry, and has tanked... and then there's you!

You seem to have found a balance and peace within your means, and that's really all that matters. Most people spend a lifetime chasing contentment..
-So cheers,
